My friends and family think that my boyfriend is controlling.?

my friends and family think that my boyfriend of 6 months is too controlling. my mother refers to him as my "master" and my friends question why i put up with his behavior. i am 18 years old and her is 21. the reason they think he is controlling is because he doesn't like for me to wear shorts, any shirt other than a tee shirt, high heels, or makeup. Also, he told me that i cannot have a facebook or he will leave. I cannot have male contacts in my phone that are not family. he also gets angry with me when i spend too much time with my family. BUT he has never hit me, or hurt me intentionally. he does occasionally cover my mouth with his hand when im yelling, or when i try to walk away he grabs me and will not let go until i talk to him. a few times, he has grabbed my arms and pushed me down onto the couch or bed to try to keep me from leaving, and during a few arguments he has yelled and cursed at me, calling me a *****, whore, selfish, and a slut, but i may have deserved it. i know that this kind of behavior is bad, but i adore his family, and when its just us hanging out, everything is usually great. he talks about wanting to marry me and ive even caught him looking at engagement rings. he is not a bum, and a lot of people like him. he has a full time job, just graduated from college, and gets me anything i need. I do love him, very much, so i do not want to leave him. my excuse to my friends when they ask why i am still with him is because sometime you do things, or don't do things, because the person you love is more important than the other things. am i wrong?

Questions for christians?

I am not an atheist, and even if i were one, i would not claim it because i find most atheist to be ignorant. I was born into a christian family, but my faith has been dwindling ever since. I find it hard for me to believe most of the stories in the bible. Do you all actually believe the story of the tower of babel? angels coming down to talk to people? adam and eve? the serpent talking? Why would the God of the bible create such a vast universe with an innumerable number of stars and planets? Shouldn't our planet (earth) be the center of focus? How do you guys cope with all of this? The evolution theory, if it's fact, how do you reconcile it with your faith? It all seems impossible. Please don't give me random verses. I assure you, i have read them before.

Bmx how to do stunts freestyle flatland?

ive had my bmx for ages now its a mongoose mischeif not customized or anythin its 31lbs. im 16 in the summer but would like to learn how to do stunts, i can just about do a bunny hop but its very heavy lol ive been watching vids on utube and trying them for ages but just wont work theres no skate parks near me so i cant realy teach myself what else can i do

I feel a LOT of your problems are solely "misscommunication" problems. Maybe instead of doing so much texting, do more calling & actually talk in person. Maybe this will just be a help in the misscommunications you're having. You're playing a lot of back & forth things, ending up getting mad & upset over things & it's coming between the two of you. Maybe start talking in person more & get things back on an even keel. I'm sure glad we didn't have "texting" back in the days I was dating, there's nothing like actually hearing one's voice & getting things straight from the beginning instead of this "texting" stuff. To me it's a "cold way" of communicating to begin with & causes a LOT of miscommunicating. Try using the old fashioned phone more & see if maybe that will be of help to you...good luck...:)
