How to i check the size frame i need?

Ok so i am looking at new frames for my mongoose because the frame that it currently has is way to heavy to be doing tricks on so the frame i am looking at is 20" the fork is threaded 1" and the axle is 3/8" what does that mean and how can i see if this will fit on my bike?
